At AcroSan, our mission is built around one primary constant: consistent, quality janitorial supply products delivered to your door when you need them.

Beginning as Needels Janitorial Supply before transitioning to AcroSan, as a company we have been distributing a wide range of cleaning and sanitation supplies for over 80 years. 

AcroSan History

1942
When E.A. and Ferne Needels started Needels Janitorial Supply out of their St. Paul, MN, home in 1942, they laid the groundwork for what has been a successful janitorial/sanitary distributorship. Three generations later, Needels Supply was still providing top-quality chemicals, supplies, and equipment to clean and maintain commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential facilities.

1970s
With the company’s foundation laid, son Roger Needels came on board to help E.A. and Ferne grow the business in new directions. Under Roger’s guidance, the company became a full jan/san distributor house and manufacturer. Needels Supply manufactured over 30 chemicals under the company’s extensive private label and custom-engineered product programs.

1999
Lisa Needels, Roger’s daughter, took over ownership in 1999. Under her direction, marketing changes were made to seek out new customers, while at the same time find ways to better serve existing clients and the community. Lisa Needels is a board member of Keystone Community Services.

2020
In 2020, Needels Supply celebrated 79 years by handing the reigns to a fourth generation, AcroSan. AcroSan officially acquired Needels Supply in early 2020 and has continued to build on the the lasting legacy by providing trusted, dedicated products and customer service.
